Read the label on all your animal products! OH - there isn't one?

Hi everyone,

I work in the personal care industry full time and have longed for this site to open and now it is here!
This website is meant for personal care products but many products found in the animal industry are the same as our own products minus all the fragrance, actives etc.

Specifically SLS (Sodium Laurel/Laureth Sulfate) in shampoos has been shot down due to some hoax comments about it not being safe. Check out some real information about this material.

Take any ingredient label (good luck finding one on animal products.. ha!) type in the ingredients to see the safety information, the function and any other information about that raw material.

I am on a mission to make pet product companies supply ingredient labels (ILN) for any product I SELL – I am having some trouble since the law here in Canada and the US is not forcing them to do so.. but the more of us push to see the label the better.

Keep that in mind when you see “ALL NATURAL” .. natural means every material on earth if you want to get technical.. research each and every material

Anyhow have fun with the site and if you need help with interpretation of nomenclature I am willing to point you in the right direction.

Start off the New Year with some dog training!

Basic obedience training for dogs using learning theory, work your brain with your dogs in this group setting for 6 weeks. If you come with an open mind and apply all of our techniques we suggest, when you are finished, you will have the basic knowledge to continue to train your dog yourself for sit, stay, off, walking on loose lead, focus (on you the trainer and not some other distracting dog/person ) create a bond with your dog, and have fun and relax in any new situation!

Starting Jan 10th or when we have 6 dogs to run the class. Cost is 160.00 and must be paid in advance to class start. This can be done either by phone with your credit card or in person by cash, debit or cheque at our boarding facility location located at 2722 Taunton Rd. E in Bowmanville - you can easily find us on google maps when you type in Country Lane Pet Resort.

Note: Classes are held at a local horse riding barn on sand floors and is not heated. See a video of the indoor training arena by clicking on "NOVEMBER" to the right of this screen.
